Choosing your bracelet

Start with the outcome, not the stone. Decide what you want the bracelet to do for you and the stone follows.

If you would rather browse visually, the shop by intention tiles on the home page filter the whole collection in one tap. Still undecided? Auralith Pure™ in clear quartz is the safest first bracelet — clear quartz amplifies whatever you pair it with, so it never goes to waste.

Every bracelet is 22 beads of 8 mm natural stone on a heavy stretch cord, which gives a relaxed inner circumference of roughly 18 cm and stretches comfortably to about 20 cm. That fits the large majority of adult wrists.

To check, wrap a tape measure snugly around your wrist just below the wrist bone. If you measure between 15 and 19 cm, the standard strand will fit. Below 15 cm or above 19 cm, message us and we will restring it to your measurement at no extra cost — tell us the design and your wrist measurement in centimetres.

A crystal bracelet should sit loose enough to rotate freely. If it grips the skin it will stress the cord, which is the single most common cause of breakage. See what to do if the cord breaks.

The conventional guidance is that the left wrist receives and the right wrist projects. So stones you are wearing to draw something in — calm, love, abundance — go on the left, and stones you are wearing to push something out or to act on the world go on the right.

In practice: Auralith Serenity™, Auralith Love™ and Sleep™ on the left; Auralith Courage™, Auralith Prosper™ and CEO™ on the right.

The exception people ask about most is the Auralith Fortune™ pixiu bracelet. Tradition holds that pixiu is worn on the left with the head facing outward, away from the body, so it faces the wealth it is drawing in.

None of this is a rule you can break wrongly. If you are right-handed and typing all day, wear it wherever it will not annoy you — a bracelet you actually keep on beats one that is on the correct wrist in a drawer. We go into this in more depth in Left wrist or right?.

Stones & authenticity

Yes. Every bead is natural gemstone, cut from rough — not glass, not resin, not reconstituted stone powder bound with polymer, which is what a large share of cheap “crystal” bracelets actually are.

You can check ours yourself. Real stone is a poor conductor, so it feels cold against the lip and takes several seconds to warm in the hand; glass warms almost immediately. Real stone has inclusions, faint banding and small variations between beads. Glass and resin are suspiciously uniform, often with tiny round bubbles.

We walk through the full set of checks in Real or fake? Six ways to check a gemstone bracelet — including the ones that work on the two most commonly faked stones, citrine and turquoise.

See also what does AAA–AAAA grade mean? and are any of your stones dyed?.

Gemstone bead grading runs roughly from A up to AAAAA, and it describes consistency and clarity rather than whether the stone is genuine. A grade-A amethyst and a grade-AAAA amethyst are both real amethyst; the AAAA one has more even colour, fewer visible fractures, better polish and tighter size calibration.

Auralith buys in the AAA–AAAA band. In practice that means the beads in a single bracelet match each other, the drill holes are centred, and the polish holds a reflection rather than looking chalky.

It does not mean flawless. Natural stone contains natural features, and a bracelet of identical, blemish-free beads is usually a warning sign rather than a mark of quality. See why does my bracelet look different from the photo?.

Because it is a natural product and the photograph is one specific strand under studio lighting.

Expect variation in tone, banding and inclusion pattern between individual bracelets of the same design. This is most obvious in stones that are naturally variable — Auralith Prism™ multi fluorite, Auralith Balance™ seven chakra, Auralith Growth™ peridot and anything containing moonstone or rhodonite.

It is least obvious in Auralith Shield™ black tourmaline and Auralith Eclipse™ obsidian, which are consistently dark.

If your bracelet arrives and the colour is genuinely not what you ordered — as opposed to a natural variation — that is a fault, not a feature. See our returns policy.

Care & cleansing

Wipe the beads with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry them immediately. That is all most bracelets ever need.

Do not use jewellery dip, ultrasonic cleaners, alcohol, acetone or household cleaning sprays. These attack the cord, can dull a polish and will strip the finish from the gold spacer over time.

A few stones are softer or more porous than they look and dislike prolonged water contact in particular: lepidolite in Auralith Calm™, howlite in Auralith Tranquil™, moonstone in Auralith Luna™, and the rudraksha seeds in Auralith Divine™. Wipe these dry rather than rinsing them.

Cleaning and cleansing are different things — see how do I cleanse and recharge the stones?.

Cleansing is about the energy you believe the stone is holding; cleaning is about dirt. Most people do the first roughly once a month, and after any period that felt heavy.

Methods that are safe for every bracelet we sell:

  • Moonlight — on a windowsill overnight, ideally at a full moon. Safe for everything, and the traditional choice for Auralith Luna™ moonstone.
  • Smoke — pass it through sandalwood, palo santo or incense smoke for 30 seconds.
  • Sound — a singing bowl or bell held nearby for a minute.
  • Clear quartz — rest the bracelet on or beside a quartz cluster overnight. Auralith Pure™ works for this too.

Two methods to avoid despite how often they are recommended online. Salt water corrodes the cord, pits porous stones and will damage pyrite in Auralith Empire™ and Auralith Fortress™, which contains iron and will rust. Direct sunlight for hours fades amethyst, rose quartz and citrine — so keep Auralith Serenity™ and Auralith Love™ out of a hot windowsill.

Full method-by-method guide: How to cleanse and charge your crystal bracelet.

Short answer: shower occasionally if you must, pool and sea never.

Chlorine and salt water are the two things that will genuinely shorten the life of a bracelet. Salt corrodes the stretch cord from the inside where you cannot see it, and it will rust the iron content in pyrite designs such as Auralith Prosper™ and Financial Protection™. Chlorine degrades the cord and dulls softer stones.

Soap and shampoo build up in the drill holes and leave a film that makes beads look chalky. If you do shower in it, rinse and dry it properly afterwards.

The gold PVD spacer itself is durable enough to handle water — see is the gold bead real gold? — so the cord and the stones are the limiting factor, not the hardware. Also take it off before the gym: sweat and sudden stretching are what usually finishes a cord. See what if the cord breaks?.

Orders, delivery & returns

Yes, to all seven emirates, and delivery is free on every order with no minimum spend.

Dubai orders placed before 2pm are usually delivered the same day. Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman are typically next day. Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain are usually one to two working days.

You will get a tracking message on WhatsApp once the order leaves us. If you need something for a specific date — a birthday, an Eid gift — message us before ordering and we will confirm whether it is achievable.

Yes. Cash on delivery is available across the UAE at no extra charge.

We also accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Tabby if you would rather split the payment. For orders placed through WhatsApp we will send a secure payment link, and we will never ask for your card details in a chat message.

Fourteen days from delivery, provided the bracelet is unworn and comes back in its original box with the pouch and card.

Message us on WhatsApp with your order number and we will arrange collection. Refunds go back to the original payment method, or as cash for COD orders, within five working days of us receiving the item.

Two things we cannot take back: bracelets that have been restrung to a custom wrist measurement, and bracelets that show wear. Natural variation in colour or pattern is not a fault — see why does my bracelet look different from the photo? — but a genuine defect or the wrong item obviously is, and we will cover the return either way.
